Default A Challenge to those of you who are good with creating builds.

Ready?

Here's the challenge:

Defeat Churkeh the Defiant and his group in Normal and Hard Mode using only heroes and henchies.

Getting to the enemy:

Exit Ruins of Morah to Alkali Pan. From the rez shrine, take a hard right, go through the bridge and you will see Chukrah and his gang next to a wurm spoor.

Very Important: THERE SHOULD BE LITTLE OR NO HELP FROM YOU! Your party under your expert control must do all the work. Reason for this is I want to make sure the party build will work independent of human player's character class.

Rules:

1)No one is your party must die during the fight. (if possible off course)

2)ABSOLUTELY NO JUNUNDU USING!!!

Some notes:

1)Yes.. Off course I have a hidden interest. I cant defeat this group of foes, and having tried many different builds I still cant beat them. I'd like to see if someone can do it.

2)Please no thread crapping! Only the builds and the description how you did it should go here. If you want to flame me, complain, or analyze my words, please PM me. I'll be more than happy to speak with you.

Oh... and thanx in advance for your help and wisdom!

Churkeh is probably in a awakened mob isn't he? Wiki doesn't give too much info on that one.

A nice tip would be to bring a Dervish or two that use Holy damage - because the awakened are counted as undead this would do double damage.

I didn't put much effort in the build it but it did work so:

Of course I did help out with my curses necro, I'm sure any profession can find a build that works for them here. Basically you set up traps a bit further from where I'm standing, then pull the group while Margrid activates frozen soil, then you call at the right moment so Devona rushes in just when the group walks in the traps. Let the mesmers target the Dune Carvers first (the signets won't be blocked by Vow of Silence), then take down the Blademasters as fast as possible. Micro them so they use Signet of Judgment first and whenever it recharges. You'll notice the Awakened Cavalier and Giants won't be able to hit you from where they're standing, but your casters will hit them (except for Spear of Light I think, that wasn't a good choice). This should only take about 20 seconds, after that either your team or theirs will be dead.

Have you tried adding a couple of smiting monks, plus a SV or SS Necro to you party, plus another factor is what character are you playing, i played a Ranger with Broadhead arrow and apply poison, savage shot, pretty much standard BHA build as in guild wiki., also if your a range you could use a sundering bow, go secondary monk, and add judges insight so the your bow attack will deal holy dmg, and armor penetration, this build is used in FOW agains t undead and works great

Hmmm... I guess there is no team build that will work with every player profession. Everyone has to modify the build to synergize with their toon.
I was hoping a build that would work independent of the player was possible...

@Neo

I'll try sabs build again now using hench eles... I tried it with 2 hench monks+devona and a mesmer/necro. We get wiped no matter what.

EDIT: Nope... Party gets owned very fast. The necros die first as they are attacked by warriors and cant take the pressure, then all hell breaks loose. And that is just normal mode. In hard, I cant even imagine a hero/hench party that could take Churkeh.

2nd EDIT: Churkeh finally defeated! All it took is for me to run a full resto spirit build and set all heroes to "defend". Again.. Apparently there is no build that can work unless a player supports it any way he/she can.

I fail to see why you can't use Junundu.

Heroes don't work very well without targeting and support from a player. They are NPC who HELP the player, and cant think for themselves. By the way, Churkeh is one of the easier Awakened bosses in the Desolation; Bohdabi the Destructive really lives up to his name. Shelkeh the Hungry is a hoot as well.
